Who We Are

We are champions, achievers, winners that are brought together to become great. It may be excelling through wrestling, learning valuable lessons in life, or reaching our physical potential. We encourage wrestlers to join us, with or without expierence so we can learn and grow together.

With Us

At the Standridge Academy we offer small group sessions, that involve sparing with other wrestlers, working one on one with our instructors, as well as learning new techniqies, incorperated with life lessons and real life expierences. Over the course of these sessions you will become a better wrestler.

The Standridge Way

At the Standridge Academy, we know that wrestling offers a unique opportunity to instill character in the young athlete whether on the way to winning the next match or bringing home Olympic Gold. The serious wrestler and the serious wrestling family need more than the usual local-dad-turned-coach methods prevalent in programs around the state.

Our founder, Ron Standridge, has nearly 50 years of professional experience guiding youth/high school athletes along the road. A former state champ, Div I college wrestler, and coach of multiple All American and National Champions, Ron has created a program focused on maximum achievement for each student through work ethic, skills development, persistence, courage, enthusiasm, and confidence.

Being a champ is great, but becoming a champion is an achievement that yields dividends long after the head gear have been hung up for good. When your child is serious about this sport, it is time to come to Standridge.
